Sweden holds a special place in my heart. Its blend of wild nature and effortless style is hard to beat, and visiting the Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi remains one of my most unforgettable travel experiences. Sleeping on ice inside a hand-sculpted masterpiece while the Northern Lights dance outside is what bucket lists are made of.
As a photographer, I’m always chasing the perfect light, and few things rival the magic of the Northern Lights. My photography tip? Use a tripod, a long exposure (start with 10–15 seconds), and keep your ISO high and your lens wide open. And don’t forget to stop and take it in with your own eye, too. Some moments are better felt than captured.
When I’m not planning Nordic escapes, I’m usually exploring the outdoors with my two kids and our dog, camera in hand, always looking for beauty in the everyday.
